Raw Food Preparation

Raw Food Diet – Preparation

Needless to say when one is preparing raw food snacks such as fruits and salads there is very little time that is necessary as compared to if one was cooking the same food. However other foods may take much more time to prepare although perhaps be less labour-intensive such as sprouting grains and seeds to make them sprout.

A typical raw food, salad meal might take for example around 5 to 10 minutes to prepare and clean up. Whilst some grains such as rice could even take 30 days to start to be edible, other foods such as the herb buckwheat could be ready in a couple of days. Although some areas of raw food might be quite expensive, such as buying fruit, others such as sprouting your own food could be quite cheap and for instance, could be not so different to buying rice to boil etc. – furthermore, often you might be able to pick foods for free in the wild.
