Raw Food Diet – Benefits
The concept as stated already regarding eating a raw vegan diet is that it promotes health – specifically those who claim the benefits of it state that they have weight loss, more energy, clear skin and improved insulin tolerance etc.. Other benefits might include a stronger immune system and greater acuity. One controversial aspect of raw foodism is that some raw vegans eat honey and there is a dispute among raw vegans if it is strictly a vegan product or at least one that vegans should be sympathetic to.
One of the typical raw food scenarios reported in being a raw vegan – whether true or not – is the concept of how some people may apparently have reasonable success with this type of diet for a while and after some time seem to fade away in terms of the health benefits that they were achieving. Perhaps some potential reasons for this might be that they were not getting sufficient nutrients in one or more areas. For instance B12 is often cited as one area that raw vegans might start lacking – however, for the short and even medium term many say they have improvements.
